“Gosh Julia I am so sorry to hear they made you redundant. That is so awful.” To my surprise she beamed back at me through her tears and said, “No its not awful its absolutely brilliant! God has finally given me the push and the money I need to set up my own business. Before I was too scared to leave. Now I finally get to do what I really want.”
Sometimes like Julia we ignore what we really want from life. We think we cannot possibly do what we want to, and then go about trying to achieve something second best. We then wonder why we get frustrated, lack motivation and achieve less.
