Just as Jesus sent the disciples out in pairs, we are not usually called to walk our journey alone. We need company and support. Others with skills and talents that complement our own. People who can help carry our load when we struggle, who can give us wise counsel and encouragement.
If we have a dream from God, He is probably calling others with whom we can journey. Sometimes the link is obvious and we find someone in our own church with a vision much like our own. At other times, we need to look further afield. And God often brings unlikely people together, creating exciting possibilities neither would have thought of. Like the opera singers who work with prisoners or the barber who gives haircuts to the homeless.
It may take a while to find your partners. Prayerfully stay on the lookout. God will help you to find them at the right time.
